Kevee, lead singer, had been toying with the idea of writing some songs and putting a record out. In June 2016 his father passed away which prompted him to write a song in honour of him. A few people heard it and encouraged him to form a band.

Armed with 3 songs, he got in touch with old mates Pete and Mick, the guitars were sorted. Rob saw Kevee needed a drummer via Facebook, and offered to join. Rob and Kevee had played in a couple of bands together twenty odd years ago, they had unfinished business having recorded stuff in the past but never released anything.

With drums, two guitars and vocals the search went out for a bass player. After a while Geoff popped his head above the parapet, and the Skomads were born.
